Yesterday I had my first ever photographer's meet up. Not only that, I was the one who hosted it.  That was terrifying. My boyfriend needed to take vitals for his CNA class, and I wanted to shoot and meet local photographers. I was afraid no one would show up at all because it was so last minute planned (I planned it in 2 days). I was right. My models showed up, but there were 0 photographers. I was stressing out slightly. I saw there was another photographer just a few feet away from me, so I sent my boyfriend over to her. Her name was Shay, and she was a new photographer wanting to expand her portfolio. Let me just say, Shay is a freaking talented awesome human being.

​When I planned the shoot out, I was excited for what I was offering. Not only did I include just one session, I offered 2. There was a recently engaged couple, Valeri and Parker, and a fashion model, Jax. I am so excited to see how Shay's photos turned out, but I definitely would love to do another photographers meet up! Except this time more planned ahead.
